Getting moisture in your differential is a bad idea. When you open a differential that is filled with water you will find milky running oil that is clearly incapable protecting your gears. Many factory axles have a breather raised much higher than water is expected to reach.
When you do an axle swap you should consider whether your axle will suck in fluid when it crosses water. Don't take the risk! Use our axle housing breather kit on your Toyota axles. Low Range Off-Road has put together all you need to remote mount your axle breather on a Hilux Pickup Truck, Tacoma, Tundra, FJ80, FJ60, FJ40 or 4Runner.

- -5 Ft High Quality Rubber Fuel Hose
- Brass Barb Fitting with Toyota Thread. Tapered thread for a tight fit to axle housing.
- Toyota Style Steel Breather Check Valve Cap. This is not the typical plastic one used by many that don't work correctly.
