Longfield Chromoly FJ80 Land Cruiser Semi-Float Rear Axle Shafts - Short Side Trail Gear

Big tires and low-range gears often lead to broken rear axles. If you're worried about breaking your stock Semi-Float FJ80 Land Cruiser rear axle shafts, Longfield rear axle shafts are the perfect solution. Made from forged 4340 Chromoly steel, Longfield rear axle shafts are built to withstand the harshest trails.

We offer the choice to purchase the individual axles or the full set. These axle shafts fit FJ80 Land Cruiser Models with Semi-Float Rear Axles only. Will not work on models with Full-Float Rear Axles. Longfield axle decals included.

Notes:

• These axles will only work on FJ80 models with Semi-Float axles, which were supplied on US models from 1990-1992. They will not work on FJ80 models with Full-Float Rear Axles. If you are not sure what kind of axle shafts you have, we recommend you pull your shafts and check before ordering.
• For best results, we recommend you install new bearings and seals when replacing your axle shafts. Our Land Cruiser Semi-Float Rear Axle Rebuild Kit comes with the correct Koyo bearings, seals, and gasket to rebuild your rear axle. Search on part number 304569-1-KIT.
• C-clips are not included as they can be reused in most instances. If you need to replace a damaged C-clip, we do offer them. Search on part number 303048-1.
• Due to the increased strength and toughness of Longfield Rear Axles, we recommend reusing your stock wheel studs or purchasing new OEM wheel studs to use on your Longfield Rear Axles.
