HOW KIKBAX WORK: KikBax are a steel, powder coated frame that installs into the existing door hinges of a Jeep Wrangler.  Once in the door hinges, they swing toward the door jamb, compressing the dome light button and looping over the door strap hook.  The door strap hook provides a solid anchor for Kikbax, making the frame very sturdy.
KikBax’ solution is to add a foot peg to the lower door hinge.  The KikBax foot peg reaches just enough for a large boot and is angled for comfort.
Additionally, when the doors are removed from a Jeep Wrangler TJ, the dome light button remains in the on position.  One solution for Jeep owners is to pull the #4 fuse out to bypass the button in the on position and replace it (or not replace it) every time they take their doors on and off.  Increasing complications, some are forced to rewire a toggle switch to combat this problem. Any time you take your doors off, you can install a pair of KikBax in seconds to fix this issue.
