The XDP HD Replacement Battery Cable Set XD428 is a superior replacement for the frayed or corroded battery cables in your 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. Old or damaged battery cables can cause a multitude of issues in your truck. From poor charging to hard-starts and even no-start conditions.
Improperly maintained or failing battery cables can also cause strain on your electrical system and leave you stranded. The XD428 Battery Cable Set is constructed from a 2/0 (or 00 AWG) wire for superior conductivity and durability.
Each cable end features crimped-on tin plated copper terminals for a secure long-lasting connection. As an added step, an adhesive lined heat-shrink wrap seals the terminal crimps to prevent oxidization and battery fumes from shortening the life of the cables. Each kit comes ready to install with military style battery terminals, terminal covers, and wire loom for added protection.
